Easy-Fit Water Filters

Although municipally treated water is safe to drink, the chlorine that is added can often cause a bad taste, that may be exaggerated when the water is boiled. To combat this, we can now offer a WRAS approved water filter that reduces taste and odour problems associated with high chlorine levels. The filters also incorporate polyphosphate scale inhibition to compliment the scale inhibitor integral to our modern range of boilers.

• Order Code: 10TOSCK - 10" GAC taste and odour + polyphosphate scale inhibitor and installation kit comprising of 2 x 15mm push-fit to 3/4" hoses, integral isolator, wall fixing clip and 6-month timestrip.

Important: When fitting a Granulated Activated Carbon (GAC) filter, 20 litres of water must be flushed through before commissioning

Energy Saving Timeswitches

Spiralling energy costs coupled with the environmental impact of C02 emissions mean it has never been more important to save energy. Although Calomax boilers are more energy efficient than conventional alternatives, a timeswitch can further reduce energy usage in periods when boiling water is not required, such as overnight and at weekends. The timeswitches can also be used on other similarly rated appliances.
