HEATING ELEMENT
All Models:
Nominal 1, 2 or 3kW rating as specified under the product description. Electro-plated copper or stainless steel sheathed element. Designed with a low watts density for a longer life span.
TEMPERATURE CONTROL
All Models:
Internal thermistor(s) provides accurate temperature control to 98°C +/- 1°C.
THERMAL INSULATION
Eclipse:
Polyurethane foam (CFC free and flame retardant).
Kudos, Kudos-3/6/9, Quantum-e, Quest:
Fire-grade polystyrene and polyurethane foam (CFC free and flame retardant).
CB32:
Polyurethane foam (CFC free and flame retardant).
ELECTRONIC CONTROL
All Models:
A printed circuit board controller maintains the desired water temperature and water level (except CB32) and indicates the operation of the boiler via LED indicators.
LED INDICATION
All Models:
A status and self-diagnostic service indicator located on the front fascia continuously displays the operation of the boiler (except CB32).
WATER VESSEL
All Models:
Constructed from high grade stainless steel.
SAFETY FEATURES
All Models:Incorporate temperature, pressure and water level safety devices.
INTEGRAL SCALE-INHIBITOR
All Models:Incorporate integral scale-inhibitor technology proven over many years (except CB32).
INSTALLATION
Eclipse:
Easily wall mounted. Connection to the mains water supply via 15mm fittings from either the bottom or rear of the boiler.
Counter top water boilers:
Eclipse, Quantum-e,Quest, Kudos, Kudos-3/6/9 Dualflow:
All 3kW versions supplied with fitted plug and lead. All models complete with flexible water hose (WRAS approved).
CB32:
Internal electrical and water connections through either the bottom or rear of the boiler.
VENT/OVERFLOW CONNECTION
Eclipse, Quantum-e,Quest, Kudos and Kudos-3/6/9 Dualflow:15mm push fit connection to allow extension to an open, safe and visible point of discharge (eg via a tundish arrangement).
CB32:
Internal overflow connection via 3/4" coupling to allow extension to an open, safe and visible point of discharge (eg via a tundish arrangement).
