Calomax returns policy
Calomax has been manufacturing catering water boilers in West Yorkshire for over 70 years. Whilst
the design and manufacturing process has changed over that period, our boilers are still hand-built in
small batches and 100% tested prior to despatch.

Calomax boilers are used to prepare and serve hot drinks in cafes, hospitals, staff kitchens and even
on-board trains and ships at sea. They are a commercial product, not suitable for domestic use and
not available to the general public. Consequently the 2014 Consumer Contracts Regulations do not
apply to any goods purchased from us.

Water boilers
If you buy a Calomax boiler from us and it is faulty or has been damaged in transit, we will either
repair or replace it, as discussed and agreed with you.

However, if you or your customer decide that the boiler is no longer required, for any reason, we will
not accept it back for credit.

Should you realise that the incorrect boiler was ordered by mistake and a different boiler is ordered
from us; then we may accept the original boiler back for credit. However, there will be re-stocking fee
of £80.00 + v.a.t. and we will only take it back if it is:
a) Returned within 2 weeks of purchase
b) Unused
c) Returned in the original packaging
d) The protective vinyl has not been removed

You will have to arrange and pay for the return of the boiler to us, and the repair of any damage in
transit would be chargeable.

Spare parts
We supply spare parts for a wide range of boilers, manufactured by us during the last 20 years. Some
of these boilers were superseded a decade ago, but we still endeavour to carry some bespoke spares
for them.

Spare parts that are faulty or damaged in transit will be replaced; but spare parts ordered in error or
no longer required, will not be accepted back for credit.
